Riverside Little League announces the formation of Fall 2010 Baseball teams to play with Brookfield LL.
League is designed to be instructional and to help players of all skill levels grow as players. 10 to 12 games will be scheduled. Play is expected to begin 1 September 2010.
Games will be played in Brookfield and played on Tuesday and Friday nights as well as Sunday afternoons.
Registration for Riverside teams is open for players born between 1 May 1998 and 30 April 2003.
Divisions (Based on players age as of 30 April 2010):
Minors - 7 Year Olds, 8 year Olds, 9 year Olds
Majors - 10 Year Olds, 11 Year Olds
NOTE: Better 9 Year Olds (Travel Level Players) may play in Majors - Subject to Fall Baseball Director approval. Feedback will be
requested from past coaches. 9 year olds playing at the Majors level may be limited due the number of registrants at the Majors level.
Cost is $50 per player. This covers the umpires, uniforms and other costs. Registration closes on Thursday, 19 August 2010. Registration forms can be found at www.riversidell.com.
A draft will be held to select the Riverside teams to insure competitive balance.
