IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
Parents/guardians and players should be aware that RLL's ability to charter teams in a specific age group is dependent on interest. Sometimes there are not enough players in older divisions to form even a single team. In such instances, the player and his/her parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible, RLL will refund registration fees, and the league will attempt to assist the family in locating an alternate baseball or softball opportunity.

TEE BALL (League Age 5)
The coed Tee Ball division is is designed to introduce our youngest players to the basics, fundamentals, and fun of baseball. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching with a focus on fun, fitness, and fundamentals. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball-softball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. No live pitching is permitted in this division. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved as managers, coaches, and volunteer in a variety of other capacities. This is a noncompetitive division where players can learn and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience. There are no team standings or playoffs, and scores are not recorded.

BASEBALL DIVISIONS (all baseball divisions are co-ed)

Pee Wee (League Age 6)
The Pee Wee division is a developmental division for kids still learning the game of baseball or softball. In Pee Wee, coaches pitch to the players (coaches can pitch overhand or underhand to ensure the most success with each hitter). Players are able to hit off a tee if unsuccessful with live pitches. In this division, every player bats each inning, which is not limited by the three out rule. This is a noncompetitive division where players can learn and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience. There are no team standings or playoffs, and scores are not recorded.
