Riverside Little League Fields Five District Teams

At the end of every season, Little League chapters around the country create District Teams for 12U, 11U and 10U baseball and softball divisions. These teams have the opportunity to play in our District Tournament, where our District Teams will play against teams from towns such as Brookfield, La Grange, La Grange Park, North Riverside, and Western Springs. The winner of the District Tournament advances to the Sectional Tournament, whose winner advances to the State Tournament. The 12U Baseball and Softball District Teams who win the State Tournament advance to the Regional Tournament, whose winner plays in the Little League World Series.

It's a very exciting time of year for these youth (and their coaches!) who have been chosen for their District Teams. We hope our Riverside Little League community will come out to support our teams during tournament games (we will share the schedule when it's released).
